Chris outside the Almageller hut, above Saas Almagell at the head of the Saas valley. The Almageller hut is very friendly towards British parties, a great hut for the traverse of the Weissmeis and for cragging on the Dri Horlini.

3rd July: On Schmetterling, 5a, Dri Horlini

25th July: Jim & Julian on the summit of Mont Blanc 6.25am. A cold wind blowing meant
we didn't stay long.

27th July: 2 days later, Rob on the summit of Mont Blanc at 6.30am, just at sunrise.

5th August: Richard on the South Ridge of the Lagginhorn

19th & 22nd August: Left - Richard & Declan on the summit of the Lagginhorn; Right - Declan on top of Mont Blanc at 6am.

29th August: Left - Ross, Steve, Tom, Peter & Jim outside the Hornli Hut after their successful ascent of the Matterhorn. All got back to the Hornli Hut by 1.30 in the afternoon, the fastest 'round trip being Steve with his guide Robin Beadle in 6 hours & 30 minutes.

4th September: Ian Funnel & Ian Cochrane flying the flag on the Allalinhorn
